Second Sentence Chapter Leader Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in starting a Second Sentence chapter at your school! Our chapters are student-led communities dedicated to helping young writers build confidence, creativity, and a love for storytelling. As a Chapter Leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while developing leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Chapter Leaders are responsible for organizing meetings, fundraising, coordinating with the Second Sentence leadership team, recruiting and supporting members, and planning service projects or workshops that align with our mission. Leaders are expected to communicate regularly, represent Second Sentence with professionalism and kindness, and create a welcoming environment where every student feels encouraged to share their voice.

Second Sentence Student Ambassador Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Second Sentence Ambassador! Ambassadors are passionate student leaders who believe every child deserves the confidence to share their voice through writing. They serve as representatives of our mission, helping us expand our impact by promoting our programs, building partnerships, supporting workshops and events, and inspiring more young writers in their communities.
Being a Second Sentence Ambassador is a meaningful leadership opportunity that requires initiative, reliability, creativity, and a genuine commitment to educational equity. Ambassadors are expected to communicate regularly with our leadership team, represent Second Sentence with professionalism and kindness, and actively contribute ideas that help our organization grow.
This application is designed to help us learn more about your experiences, interests, and vision for making an impact. Ambassador – Supports outreach and events (3–5 hours/month).
Lead Ambassador – Leads a project or mentors other ambassadors (5–8 hours/month).
Regional Ambassador – Coordinates ambassadors across a city or region and helps launch new chapters.
